Sarinah Gitopawiro was born at November 10, 1992 in Utrecht, The Netherlands.


After the divorce of her parents in 1997, Sarinah grew up at her grandparents house in Groningen together with her little brother and mother. When both of her grandparents past away, Sarinah moved to Blaricum with her family. While she was going to middle school in Laren (Noord-Holland), Sarinah signed in for local talentshows. She got a lot of support from her friends and family, because of her musical talents as a ballad singer. 

  • 2005 - 2009: Sarinah won four talentshows in a row. She won the 1st and 2nd prize in the category live shows. 
  • 2011: Sarinah moved in with her father in Utrecht, The Netherlands. She went to the Business & Administration College in Utrecht and worked four days per week as a Management Assistant at a reintegration organization for young adults with a work disability (autism and non-congenital brain injuries).
  • 2012 - 2016: Sarinah had several office and sales jobs. Her father encouraged her to finish college and build up a resume before continuing her passion for music. Sarinah developed a talent for sales in a multinational food company and she obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Management to climb up as a Sales Manager.
  • 2016: Sarinah was discovered by a well known fashion photographer. She has been modeling for beauty and fashion campaigns such as Wella Professional, Loreal Paris, Schwarzkopf, G-Star and Levi's and got publications in magazines including Vogue Italy and Cosmopolitan by the end of 2016. 
  • 2017: Sarinah appeared in tv-commercials such as Bol.com, Basic Fit and Toto.nl. She got a couple guestroles in Dutch tv-series and soaps such as Goede Tijden/Slechte Tijden, Vechtershart and Nieuwe Buren while she was modeling for lingerie- bikini- and sportswear campaigns.
  • 2018 - 2020: Sarinah started to follow an acting course at the Amsterdam Filmschool in Amsterdam. Therefore she received a certification. She also participated in multiple masterclasses at the Film Actors Academy Amsterdam (FAAAM) to develop her acting skills.
